This photo [of Joseph Kurkowski] is from a collection that was left to me [Susan O'Keefe]. William Marek was my great uncle, my grandmother's step brother. He was a member of the Army's 113 Engineers 38 Div in 1919. I suspect that's where he met Joseph Kurkowski.
