Dave Davis was a soldier, served his time in the U. S. Army, died and was buried in this cem.
His father Thomas Davis was a Mexican War soldier, (Company K., 2nd Ohio Infantry) buried in cem. Has a Gov. Monument.
Thomas Davis owned the land. Wm. Loeus (probably Loges) bought it from Mr Wm. Loges (probably from Mr. Davis.) Mr. Citro is the present owner of the land. Mr. Citro bought the land about 20 or 21 yr. ago. The Davises fenced the cem. in the early or beginning of cem. Mr. Citro's Tenant built the present fence around the cem.
There is about 15 or 20 people buried in cem. Mr. Tiff is the present Tenant on this Citro farm. Information obtained from Mr. & Mrs. Roy Smith who lives east & south of the Citro Farm. This cem. is situated south of Hard road No 4, about 1/4 of mile south of hard road, West of the Citro Lake upon a hill, South West of recreation Building about 200 feet. There is a very poor Barb Wire fence around the cem. There are only two stones that can be seen, but Mr. Smith says there are 15 or 20 people buried there. One of the stones is the Gov. Marker of Thomas Davis, a Mexican soldier. The other stone has the name of Friend on it - Wife of T. J. Friend.
